Squatgate: “Cops not guilty”

Posted:17:56 Nov-28-2005 Filed under: Politics, Scandals, WTF?

An internal investigation into the Squatgate scandal shows police personnel did not breach the law.

Deputy Internal Security Minister Noh Omar told reporters in parliament: “I dare to say that everything (in the case) followed the rules.”

The result of the police investigation may be made public tomorrow.

Noh said he would reveal the outcome in the Dewan Rakyat if a motion submitted on the incident by the DAP was accepted for debate.

He said the full report was received by the ministry this morning and he had also discussed the investigation with the IGP in his preparation for the debate.

“I will tell everything in Parliament tomorrow,” he told reporters in the Parliament lobby today.

  1. Neither is Saddam or his demon sons since they were the law.

If it’s procedural, it must be right. Period.

No wonder there’s also little associated fibre for international competition arising from such a closed mindset.
