Noh Omar such a pussy
Deputy Internal Security Minister Noh Omar hit a dead end with his balik comment directed at foreigners and is now doing a gostan.
He now puts the blame on the media over his smartass remark (listen to his comments) yesterday that foreigners could go home if they think Malaysia is a cruel country.
Noh repeatedly denied in parliament today he made that scandalous comment and accused reporters of misunderstanding the context of his statement.
When asked how every reporter could have misinterpreted him, he did not answer directly but repeated his stance that he would not want the image of the country to be tarnished, reports malaysiakini this evening.
“I am a deputy minister. Would I do something like this to jeopardise the image of the country?”
Yes, you would, and yes, you did. What a pussy.
In related news, Kit Siang today told reporters the Prime Minister’s Office contacted all newspapers yesterday and asked them to kill the story.
“But it was too late to stop the night editions of the Chinese newspapers which had already gone to press, giving prominent coverage to Noh Omar’s shocking and outrageous statement.
“Nanyang Siang Pau, China Press and Guang Ming Daily gave front-page headline and photo treatment while Sin Chew Daily gave it page-lead and photo in page 3.”

We have to think of something to stop this ‘Foot in mouth’ syndrome outbreak in Malaysia now. It is just so contagious among ministers and MPs.

Pak Lah has finally come out to give a tiny ever slight tap on the wrist of this deputy minister of his.
Despite saying that that Noh had touched on (read critised) the government’s policy on tourism which really welcomed foreigners whether to visit, study, receive medical treatment or conduct their business operation here.
The last time a deputy minister criticised the government policy on derecognising CSMU medical degrees, he was immediately suspended for 3 months. Remember Sothinathan, now what will the MIC chief have to say :: “Not fair”. But will he dare to say so. Saying so might just have him found going against government policy and he might find himself suspende. Better to keep quiet!

If what he said earlier are his true feelings, then I have no comment on that. But if that’s how he really feels, then he should have just stuck to it and stop putting the blame on others.
What is it with people and trying to make their breath smell like poppies and their farts like cinnamon? If you hate it, just say you hate it. There’s no point in denying it later, because everyone will just label you a hypocritical bastard.

CC, I like your ‘pussy’ adjective… it fits that bloke like a glove…
But Mizuchi’s ‘hypocritical bastard’ addition is probably more concise…

If a general election were to be put up now, I believe we may see a lot of people going down.. although that is only my opinion.
