Chinese have ‘rejected Ka Ting’
Former MCA vice-president Chua Jui Meng made a plea to current party president Ong Ka Ting to do the right thing and step down.
Chua said the Chinese community has already “rejected Ong in the clearest possible manner.”– mkini

“Chinese have ‘rejected Ka Ting’”
Perhaps they have in fact rejected the MCA. A few ah mows and ah kows are maybe still superstition bound.

The biggest reason why the Chinese had turned against MCA is because it is not representative of the Chinese but is nothing more than a mouthpiece for the UMNO. The actual self-appointed function of the MCA is to frighten the Chinese into submission to the Malays’ unequal rights under the neo-apartheid NEP through the threats of repeating May 13 massacres. The MCA frightened the Chinese by saying to the Chinese, vote for me or you will be massacred by the Malay thugs. Theerfore, the Chinese have been coerced into supporting the MCA not because the MCA had done good things to promote the interests of the Chinese but through threats of death. There is no more role for the MCA to play. The time has changed and there are outside forces to protect the Chinese from being massacred by the Malay thugs. And the Chinese can’t wait to turn against MCA who is nothing more than the lap dog of UMNO. It has been totally discredited. The best MCA can do is to disband itself and disappear thus freeing the Chinese to join DAP.
The MCA did not fight to prevent the deportation of hundreds of thousands of Chinese. The MCA did not fight to give hundreds of thousands of Chinese the permanent residence and the citizenship they deserved after decades of contributing to the building of Malaysian wealth. The deportation of these hundreds of thousands of Chinese not only represented hundreds of thousand of personal tragedies but had denied hundreds of thousands of faithful supporters for MCA. Because the MCA did not make Malaysian policies equal to the Chinese, millions of Chinese - the smartest and the richest - had left out of disgust and despair. Again denying millions of loyal supporters to the MCA. The MCA top-dogs are interested only in acting as go-betweens between the Chinese and the government where for bribes they’d dispense some things which the Chinese should by law have as special favors. Under the MCA the Chinese population has been decimated and the rights of the Chinese had been sold out by the MCA. Even when Singapore’s Lee KY had condemned Malaysia for marginalizing the Chinese, the MCA top dogs came out and denied that there is any marginalization in Malaysia. This had absolutely infuriated the Chinese. There is no point for the Chinese to support MCA. Not any more than the Chinese have reason to support UMNO and NEP.

Ka Chuak also raved about DAP appeasing PAS. He forgot his party endorses the umno islamic state declaration by Mahathir.
And Ka Thing was so noble enough to decline a cabinet post by keeping that within his family by recommending this fatface blathermouth cockroach.

MCA must redefine its role in the government….. Chinese not longer put the chinese school issue as its main priority. However MCA have done well in its education policy (TAR College have been the pinnacle of its education policy).. WHAT ELSE?.. Back when malaysia achieve independent… the mentality of Malaysian is Malay concentrate in politic and Chinese’s in business… Now (thanks to the New Economic Policy) millions of Malay has achieved success in business and millions of Malay is now in the middle class rank… How about Chinese and other non malay group in politic? We are still not allowed to be a Chief Minister in Malaysia States (and we are in 21st century) and Chinese no longer hold any decision making cabinet in the current Malaysia government? MCA or Gerakan for the matter only hold mid level government ministry such as health and transport…. we are BACKWARD POLITICALLY… Should the government come up with a NEP like plan to improve Non-Malay involvement in the government? MCA must fight for greater involvement in the government in order for MCA to better serve the need, want and demand of the Chinese Malaysia that MCA want to represent. MCA must change in order to stay relevant.
The Government of Malaysia and UMNO must allow Non-Malay to have a greater say in the running of Malaysia. No longer are we happy with Health minister, Brigadier General, OCPD, Deputy Speaker.. We want to be allow to reach for the sky like how Malay have reached the sky in business.. Please Allow equal opportunity for ALL Malaysian. I gonna end this comment with a quote by our former Deputy Prime Minister, Tun Dr Ismail Abdul Rahman.
“Why did we fight for Merdeka? So that the different races can be divided? That can’t be the way, right? That can’t be why all these great Malay and Umno leaders fought for this … Something is wrong…
I hope the new discussions will start. Why are we building Malaysia? What Malaysia are we building? What kind of symbol is Malaysia supposed to be?.” Tun Dr Ismail Abdul Rahman (2007)

i support Ka Ting but reject MCA,he had done and completed many works for social but i don’t agree with him that those junior with no contribution to the party should come out as a candidate, especially those who inherit from their father ,that make the party become a family business.why not put down their grandson to take part if they agree so?
