Selangor state executive councillor Teresa Kok is not pleased with Malay daily Utusan Malaysia for making her an ‘easy target’ over the modern pig farm project fiasco.

She criticised the paper for taking her blog comments out of context and making the modern pig farm issue in Selangor “ugly and distasteful to the Malay community.”

“I am now reluctant to take interviews from Utusan. On one hand we wish we could reach out to the Malay readers but on the other, our comments are being twisted and turned by them. I think whatever I say now will be used against me,” she said.

The proposed RM100 million hi-tech pig farm in Selangor at Ladang Tumbuk in the Kuala Langat district received massive coverage in the local Malay newspapers. ”Continued”

I am absolutely disgusted at the way some readers of Teresa Kok’s blog reacted when she posted a piece originally titled "5 roast pigs to celebrate election victory".

In that piece she yakked about doing her thank-you rounds at the Salak South wet market. She included a photo of Team Seputeh in the presence of five very yummy looking roast pigs. Only parts of the pigs were visible as the main focus of the photo was on Team Seputeh.

The media must have been stalking her blog as she was hounded by reporters very late last night asking for her comments.

Some holier-than-thou type readers started to pepper her blog with comments such as it was inappropriate la, offensive la, whatever la.

The said photo was later removed and the title of the post changed, not because it was an admission of guilt, but to put a stop to possibility Umno racially exploiting the issue. It is understood Teresa did not authorised the removal of the photo and it was done so by a junior staff. The said photo is back where it belonged but has been cropped.

It is Chinese tradition to have roast pork and booze for celebration and it’s Teresa’s right to publish photos of her celebration without having to be told her celebration is haram.

It is alarming when some non-Muslims try to pander to others and take their actions as gestures of accepting each other.

They are just aknowledging their second and third class citizenship by being oversensitive to a innocent heading and photo.

Two years ago Teresa published this photo about the DAP visiting the pig farmers in Malacca. Did anyone complain?

 

 

PKR’s shit-stirrer and propaganda chief Tian Chua was today charged at the Magistrate’s Court in Kuala Lumpur for injuring a cop on Dec 11 last year while resisting arrest for taking part in an illegal assembly.

He pleaded not guilty to a charge of voluntarily causing hurt to Konstable Rosyaidi Anuar and deterring him from performing his duty.

Deputy public prosecutor Mohamad Hanafiah Zakaria told the media outside the court that the injury sustained by Rosyaidi was on the left arm.

It is believed Tian Chua had allegedly bitten Rosyaidi while resisting arrest.

I urge the prosecution to have the court to commit him to Tanjung Rambutan for psychiatric assessment. This man is vicious and insane.

All you have to do is see how he stabs his friends of political convenience.

It’s disturbing to be told that some friends and mostly foes are trying to implicate the DAP with the recent Hindraf-organised rally.
